Blind Draw 4's Volleyball Tournament

Event Description

This family-friendly fundraising event is presented by the Go Mitch Go Foundation raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to support blood cancer research.  To learn more about the founders' son Mitch and the cause, go to www.gomitchgo.com.  To learn more about the work of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, go to www.lls.org.  This is an expense-free event, which means that the tournament is run on donations and all the proceeds go to the Go Mitch Go Foundation.  

Love to play sand volleyball, but can never seem to get a team together?  Always play on the same team and want to test your skills with other players? Want to contribute to a good cause while getting in a day of fun and exercise too?  Want to play volleyball, but need to find a way to make it a family day? This is the tournament for you.  

A Blind Draw 4's tournament means that you sign-up as an individual and are blindly picked to play on a sand volleyball team of 4 players.  We will ask you to tell us your skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, Intermediate +, or advanced), so that when teams are formed there won't be 4 beginners on the same team. 

There will be donated prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placed teams!

All volleyball participants must be at least 18 years of age and sign a liability waiver on the day of the event.     

Hanovers Draught Haus has generously donated their backyard for our use on Saturday, May 11th.  While you only need to register in advance for the Blind Draw 4's volleyball tournament at $30/person, we will also have games and crafts for the kids, silent auction items, music, and the like throughout the day through 5 p.m.  The volleyball tournament will start at 9:30 a.m. and may last through 5 p.m. (plan to make a day of it); however, all volleyball participants are required to be at Hanovers by 9 a.m. so the blind draw can occur.  While you may be able to register for the tournament the day of at Hanovers if we have not reached maximum capacity for the tournament, don't take that chance.  Reserve your spot today.  Your ticket is transferable as long as you provide us the skill level, name of the player, and contact information of the person you have transfered your ticket.
